Meet Milo
Milo has a trick that makes him stand out from the Puppy pack. Two rectangular openings on his 19 × 12 × 2 inch cherry surface lead into one medium stainless tray. Use one for diced onion and the other for celery or carrots, or make up your own rhythm as you cook. His richly patterned end grain, cup handles, and family tattoo are all his own. At 8 lbs. 2 oz., he has a useful, comfortable presence without taking over the counter. One tray, two ways in, and no need for a grand title.
